With Camera on, Start opens your front camera so you can frame the shot, then the red button records video with sound while the script rolls. Tap the screen to pause both — each pause makes a clean jump cut in one file. Drag the script up or down mid-take to fix your place; let go and it rolls on at your set speed without stopping the recording. Reading from the amber arrow keeps your eyes near the lens. Pick your mic above and hit Test to confirm the right one is live before you shoot — the take will use exactly that device. Note: on Android phones, browsers can't record from mics that plug in over USB-C (like Hollyland and other wireless receivers) — they won't appear in the list even though the phone's own camera app can use them. Bluetooth mics and the built-in mic work fine; on a laptop, USB mics work too. Script and settings stay saved on this device — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
